My name is coach Lilliston, and this is my ninth year as the basketball coach at Hughes Academy. I came to Hughes in the 2011-2012 year. In that first year, we were able to capture the Greenville County Middle School basketball championship. In my time at Hughes, I have truly been blessed to have the opportunity to coach so many terrific young men. Our goals at Hughes are simple: build character/mental toughness, teach the fundamentals of basketball, improve basketball awareness, and prepare student-athletes for high school basketball.

2017-2018- Southside High Pre-season Middle School Tournament Runner-up

2019-2020- Southside High Pre-season Middle School Tournament Champion
