In 2023 Skyland received a grant from the Handbell Musicians of America for a one year loan of a set of chimes. In addition to our set, this allowed ALL Skyland students the opportunity to learn more about music with chimes. Chimes were a big hit with our students!  Thanks to our Silent Disco fundraiser, we were able to purchase a 2nd set of chimes in 2024.   We look forward to using these instruments to learn more about music reading and playing harmonies with favorite songs. Just another way to make music at Skyland!
