Our school counselors provide a comprehensive program designed to support the academic, career, and social/emotional needs of all students. Services include:
Academic Support
Course selection and scheduling assistance
Study skills and organizational strategies
Monitoring academic progress and interventions
Support for students in advanced or specialized programs
Social/Emotional Support
Individual counseling for personal concerns
Small group counseling for peer relationships, coping skills, and other needs
Crisis intervention and safety planning
Support for transitions between grade levels and to high school
Career & Future Planning
Career exploration activities and resources
Goal-setting and planning for high school and beyond
Assistance with Individual Graduation Plans (IGPs)
Collaboration & Advocacy
Partnering with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success
Coordinating services with community agencies and resources
Advocating for equitable access to programs and opportunities
Special Programs & Coordination
504 Plan coordination and implementation
Support for students in the Gifted & Talented and Special Education programs
School-wide prevention programs (bullying prevention, mental health awareness, etc.)
Parent and family workshops
