8th Grade Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) Conferences begin in November and will continue up until the middle of December. All 8th-grade students and their parents/guardians will meet with one of our school counselors for their IGP conference.
What is an IGP?
A plan that guides your student through their high school years and beyond by choosing classes and discussing their potential career interests.
STUDENT LED CONFERENCE:
Your student will present to a school counselor & parent/guardian about their next steps. Your student has been working on Schoolinks tasks to help develop their IGP personalized plan to share during their conference.
What will be discussed at the IGP?
Discuss your student's current course work, career interests, as well as the high school graduation requirements and post-secondary options.
Where is the conference?
The conference will be hybrid: students will meet with the counselor during the school day, and the parent/guardian will join virtually using the Google Meet link in their confirmation email.
