Staff

I am the librarian/media specialist Susan Toole.  I graduated from Winthrop with my bachelors in elementary education and my masters in educational media.  I have traveled the country training and riding horses professionally and leading high-adventure outdoor experiential education wilderness trips.  I have had five different successful careers.  I have also trained and worked with hawks, crows, owls, horses, dogs, cats, deer, rabbits, goats, cows, rabbits, turtles, and snakes.  I have two sons who are 19 and 22 years old.  In my free time, I enjoy yoga, gardening, wildcrafting, sculpture, poetry, fiddle, dance, embroidery, knitting, sewing, weaving, collage, biking, hiking, camping, swimming, and visiting with family, friends, and strangers.  I spend most of my time with my sons and our animals.  I love Alexander Elementary and all of it's brilliant students.  Go Eagles!
