McKell Middle School Band

We hope you will use this site to learn more about our program, and to stay informed for performances and other events.

The McKell Middle School Band is a component of the performing arts department at McKell Middle School in South Shore, Kentucky. The band consistently earns proficient and distinguished ratings at state assessment each year.

Throughout the year, the band performs two seasonal concerts, several community performances, and participates in the Kentucky Music Educators Association performances/events. Additionally, our students are regularly named to the All-District Band and Morehead State University Honor Band Clinic, which perform annually.
