Careers in Sports Virtual Expo '20

Careers in Sports is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) dedicated to presenting career options in the sports industry to high school student athletes. The Careers in Sports Expo brings high profile sports industry leaders to engage with high school students through engaging panels, interactive presentations and workshops.

I, Too, Am the Dream Contest

Are you, or do you know, a rising high school senior? Do you imagine that no matter who you are or where you come from, the American Dream is for everyone? And, have ideas that will make the American Dream real? Do you want an opportunity to win $5,000 to use toward achieving your dreams?

Submit an essay, poem, spoken word, or short story of 1,000 words or fewer using the following prompt:

Drawing on your own personal experience and/or the experiences of others, describe your vision for a reimagined American Dream and how you envision advancing it for yourself and others.

The Los Angeles Dodgers announce LA Reads

To help address the literacy crisis in Los Angeles and get children excited about reading, the Los Angeles Dodgers partnered with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to execute LA Reads, a literacy campaign that includes a literacy challenge, "Dodgers Reading Champions". LA Reads and the Dodgers Reading Champions are designed to motivate youth to read and help them build a lifelong love of reading.
