GELDERLAND VAN MORGEN

A successful transition program for the state of Gelderland

Over 130 hospitals, care institutes, office canteens, and restaurants are guided to save up to 50% CO2 impact by implementing healthier and sustainable menus, and improve purchasing and waste management practices.

Status: The program was running from 2021 until June 2024.

Greendish Academy 2.0

The Greendish Academy - an online learning platform - will become more affordable, attractive, and accessible for small size restaurants and large catering companies with multiple locations in the care and educational sector.

This way we can accelerate the plant-based protein transition in the Netherlands. The long term ambition is to work with 500 locations in 5 years to reduce 30% CO2 output. The 2 year goal is to work with 50 locations and achieve 15% CO2 reduction.

Good founders and funders that want to contribute to the world cannot find each other easy or fast enough.

Access to funds is important for scaling sustainable solutions. Effective solutions that do not have a financially attractive business model or steward-owned companies are currently unable to maximize their impact.
