Solo and Ensemble

Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade members. Those who elect to participate will perform a solo or as a small group in front of a judge at EGMS to receive a 1-5 rating (similar to the Ratings Band). It will take place at the end of January/beginning of February on a Saturday (see calendar for date). Music will be handed out to play in November. Most solos will be played with a piano accompanist; you may choose your own or we will provide one. Pieces must be ready to play by the beginning of January to be accepted. A “B” band average is required.
