The STORY-ACT Toolkit is a practical resource for youth workers, teachers and facilitators who want to bring storytelling into their educational activities. It brings together methods tested in Austria, Romania, Türkiye and Spain.
It will include:
• step-by-step ideas for storytelling workshops and story circles;
• exercises for reflection, dialogue and group cohesion;
• simple guides for podcasts, videos and blog posts;
• tips on connecting storytelling with civic engagement, media literacy and inclusion.
[Download link will be added here once the toolkit is published ✅]
Throughout the project, young people will create digital stories that speak about who they are and what they care about. These outputs will be collected in one place as part of the STORY-ACT digital campaign:
• Podcasts – short episodes recorded by participants on themes such as identity, inclusion, climate, mental health or youth rights;
• Videos – personal narratives, mini-campaigns and creative clips produced during mobilities and local labs;
• Blogs & Articles – written stories, reflections and creative texts highlighting local realities in each country.
As new content is published, links to playlists, story collections and campaign highlights will be added here.
The methods and stories from STORY-ACT are meant to travel further. To support local activities, the project will share:
• sample agendas for youth workshops and storytelling clubs;
• printable materials and reflection questions;
• inspiration on how to use the Youth Stories and Toolkit in schools, youth centres or NGOs.
All resources are open and adaptable. If you use them in your own work, we kindly invite you to acknowledge the STORY-ACT project and the Erasmus+ programme as the source.
