Paying for College
If you're planning to continue your education after graduating from ECA, it's time to explore options for paying for college. The first step is ensuring you complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application as soon as possible. FAFSA is used to determine eligibility for a variety of aid including federal, state, and school-based, as well as determination of grants and scholarships. All colleges and universities use the FAFSA to determine your financial aid package and your eligibility for grants. Visit the FAFSA website for more information.
Scholarships - FREE Money for College
Scholarships can help pay for college and do not have to be repaid. Scholarships can be awarded by a variety of sources, including institutions, businesses, non-profits, religious organizations, the government, etc. Each scholarship has its own deadline, criteria, and application. Seniors can keep up with scholarships through our Senior Scholarship List.

Tutor Profile
Carter Woodson
Hello, I am Carter Woodson, he/him, a 4th-year student studying General Mathematics at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. I grew up in rural West Virginia and moved to Colorado to continue my education in Mathematics after transferring from the University of Virginia. I’ve been tutoring students formally since 2014, starting as a mentor for the I Have A Dream Foundation in Boulder. I am passionate about the work I do with students, showing them that math and science can be a lot of fun and they have the ability to solve challenging problems. I’ve been working in Greeley as a math tutor at ECA for about 3 years now. I enjoyed studying music in grade school and now sing in my church’s choir. I also really enjoy puzzles like chess and Rubik’s cubes.
