Students can be involved in workplace learning in three ways:
Work Experience
Structured Workplace Learning
Work Trial Leading to an Apprenticeship or Traineeship for School Students.

Step 1: Complete the online Workplace Preparation Program
Create a Plink account here: https://www.plink.sa.edu.au/ilp/pages/user-profile-signup.jsf
Users are then taken to the WorkStart dashboard on Plink.
Then select ‘Register’. To complete the registration form enter your date of birth, year level, and school site.
Email the completion certificate to carla.anderson889@schools.sa.edu.au

Contact a workplace to organise your placement
Please complete this form and return it to the front office at least 2 weeks prior to your placement. This allows sufficient time for your Community Leader to approve your placement and all necessary forms to be processed.
Notify your teachers about your planned absence from school.
Before your placement begins you will receive a message via Daymap from Carla with a copy of your approved agreement, a workplace appraisal form and additional instructions.
Following your placement, return your appraisal form to Carla at the front office
