• Cattle farm work.

• General farming duties, including operating equipment following in-house training by qualified operators and commensurate to experience.

• Monitoring and repair of stock water points & supply systems.

• Monitoring health of stock, recording outcomes.

• Move or rotate stock to optimize feeding opportunities.

• Feed livestock.

• Participate in completion of Incident Reports, Job Safety Analysis, Workplace Inspections etc.

• Clean animal working areas, clear away animal waste.

• Perform other tasks involved in the breeding and raising of livestock, such as calf marking, weaning, administering animal health treatments.

• Carting and distributing hay.

• Ride ATVs and drive utilities to shift and muster livestock.

Apprentice Cabinet Maker - Penola

Group Training Employment together with JBR Joinery, located in Penola and we are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, career minded candidate to apply for this Full Time Apprenticeship.

Duties Include:

Construction and installation of Kitchens, Vanities, Wardrobes and Laundries.

• Reading and understanding plans and drawings

• Assembly of cabinets

• Select and prepare timber and manufactured board learning the skills of marking out, cut and shaping.

• Assemble and fit sections together to form a cabinet.

• Fit hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves.

• Installing new Kitchen cabinets, Vanities, Wardrobes and laundry cabinets.

Personal Requirements

• Interested in practical and manual work.

• Fit and reliable.

• Able to follow written instructions.

• Able to work to high level of accuracy.

• Able to make mathematical calculations.
