We want to help you prepare your child for Kindergarten. This site will have a variety of activities and ideas to help you prepare your child. If you have concerns with your child's development you can reach out to your child's doctor or call First Steps or Head Start/Preschool for information.
Another great way to prepare for Kindergarten is to have your child take the ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire). The ASQ takes about 30 minutes to complete and will tell you if your child is below, on, or above where they should be developmentally to begin school. To receive an ASQ you can call the Grant County Public Library and Mrs. Geneva Hoffman can schedule a time for you and your child to visit the library so the ASQ can be given. The ASQ can be given multiple times to one child. You can see their growth from ASQ to ASQ!
