Resources
National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 988 Yes, its that easy! Just dial 988
SafeUT: This is a resource for students to use if they want to text or call a crisis counselor. It is free and available 24/7.
The most important resource for your child’s mental health is you. SafeUT can offer a listening ear and qualified support in times of crisis, but no one can truly replace the influence of a loving parent/guardian.
It starts with honest, open conversations with your child about topics like mental health and conflict resolution. If you need a little guidance or a few talking points, the “Conversation Starters” PDF can help.
