Microbits
5th and 6th grade students attend an after school coding club and participate in 2 months of hands-on making and coding with Makey Makey, Micro:bits, LittleBits, Ozobots, Sphero Sprk+, Snap Circuits and Lego Mindstorm.
I do making and code for all these tools except Lego Mindstorm.
Time: 1 hour every Wednesday for two months, Starts in February.

Student Peer Experts from 5th/6th grade learn to plan video projects with purpose and story, adjust screen, watch voice, and add pictures or video backgrounds on Flipgrid. See several student examples on Flipgrid here. (Special permissions is given by parents for FHSU viewing.)
One of four video training session with 5th/6th grade coding experts to creating their own Flipgrids about one of six tools: Makey Makey, Ozobots, Sphero Sprk+, Little Bits, Micro:bits, Snap Circuits. The purpose is for student experts to gain recognition, create for a real world purpose, share knowledge, increase use, and train students and faculty on specific STEM/Coding tools.
