The Curriculum and Instruction department is responsible for assisting teachers with the implementation of the Utah Core Standards. Our goal is to provide ongoing support and coaching to teachers based on the evidence-based practices in the Instructional Framework.
Our team creates the district proficiency scales, curriculum maps, and sample tasks/assessments. Specialists facilitate professional learning opportunities on lesson design, evidence-based instructional strategies and curriculum topics.
