The Evergreen counselors are available to students everyday. Students may come down any time during the day to speak with their counselor or use our calming room. If your counselor is not available, students can fill out a call slip with Mrs. Thompson and your counselor will call you down later that day. Parents wishing to meet with a counselor may call or email the counseling center to set up an appointment.

About Sheila Thompson
Mrs. Thompson was born in southern California and moved with her family to Utah when she was 10 years old. After college she worked at Xerox for 6 years. During that time she married and later had her daughter in 1986. She quit her job to be a stay-at-home mom. Five years later her son came along. Mrs. Thompson volunteered weekly in both of her children's classrooms which she loved! When her son started school at Evergreen, they didn't need volunteers so she took a part-time job there as the Lunch Secretary. This is now her 17th year at Evergreen and her 3rd year as secretary in the Counseling Center. As a side business, she sold specialty breads at a neighborhood coffee shop for 2 years. She enjoys reading, particularly about history and historical novels, working out, power walking, and especially baking.
