Scrimmages

It is useful to allow students to practice writing and answering questions once they have formed teams. Questions must be formatted as, "In which book..." and fall into one of the following four categories: character, detail, plot, or setting. Students and staff are encouraged to write questions and add them to our district-wide Practice Questions Google sheet (you can find those links below) so that other schools can access them. As questions are submitted, they will be organized into scrimmages that can be used to run a relay-style competition for individual practice or to use running battles similar to those used at the school and district competitions.
