 In this lesson, students will begin to investigate the scale of matter and how we can make observations of things that are to small to see by studying there affects on other things.

Good evening.  

I am recinding this lesson because I feel that it did not adequately teach the students the goal of the lesson: how solids can changes because of exposure to air and water, and how we can observe these changes through their reactions to air and water.

We will begin a new 4-day lesson to explore this standard beginning Monday, November 3, 2025.

This lesson we will further explore how energy can be transferred between objects, and use or knowledge to make PREDICTIONS about what could happen in  experiments about energy and motion.

This lesson we will explore the concept dissolving solids in a liquid, what is happening when something dissolves, and build on our understanding of what properties make matter a GAS, LIQUID, or SOLID.
