Science Fair - 4th Grade
This resource is for 4th grade students wanting to participate in the school science fair. For 4th grade students, the focus is on conducting an experiment to answer a question. The notebook will guide you step-by-step as how you can conduct your own experiment at home.
Submissions must be completed and brought to the school by Monday, January 12, 2026 to be eligible to be presented in the school display on Tueaday, January 13, 2026.
Science Fair - 5th Grade
This resource is for 5th grade students wanting to participate in the school science fair.
For 5th grade students they have the choice of conducting an experiment to answer a question, or engineer a solution to a problem/task/challenge. The notebook will guide you step-by-step as how you can conduct your own experiment at home.
Submissions must be completed and brought to the school by Monday, January 12, 2026 to be eligible to be presented in the school display on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
This video series from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory is an excellent resource for students and their families to better understand the steps in producing a science fair project, with insights on how to conduct and experiment, or create and engineering project (engineering projects only for 5th grade students).
