Granite Schools Developing a Sense of Belonging
Several Granite schools are embracing the Belonging Schools Roadmap and implementing structures to support ongoing family engagement efforts.
The bicycle rubric below shows how schools can become more proficient in implementing family engagement structures. Using this rubric, we have identified schools who have made great strides in developing these structures.

HOW DO I BUILD A SENSE OF BELONGING IN MY SCHOOL?
The Belonging School Partnership Roadmap shows the journey schools and families take together to build a strong partnership to support student success. Each step is critical to growing a sustainable partnership. As educators, we must remember the key to building partnerships is creating trusting relationships. Without the Welcoming and Honoring stops along the roadmap we will never reach Partnering.
