How to Use this Site
The website is broken up into three sections: Study, this section provides a digital inventory of different digital tools that you can use in the classroom to teach our students to be global citizens. Teach, this section includes a globalized lesson plan and international and local resources that can be used in the classroom. Travel, this section includes my travel blog.

Why Global Education?
Global Education is the idea that we must teach our students to be global citizens. Global citizens have an in-depth knowledge of the world, which includes its geography, cultures, politics, science, and economics. Students need to be able see the varying perspectives of the worlds citizens, be able to communicate ones own idea effectively, and learn how to take action to solve the complex issues that are facing the world.
According to the Dalai Lama: "Human beings, through wider contact and more education, are becoming more mature. It takes time, and we must take the long view. When we look at our world with a longer time frame, say, of a hundred years, we can then envision a world that is very different. A better, kinder, a more equitable, more joyful world. But we must start the process of that change now, not wait for some ideal time. The ideal time is now."
