Grand Blanc Community Schools has lifted all COVID-19 requirements for K-12 buildings at the recommendation of the state and local health officials.
CDC has updated their guidance on COVID as follows 7/2024
The updated Respiratory Virus Guidance recommends that people stay home and away from others until at least 24 hours after both their symptoms are getting better overall, and they have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication).
The guidance goes on to say . . . Since some people remain contagious beyond the "stay-at-home" period, a 5 day period of added precaution using prevention strategies are recommended:
Take more steps for cleaner air
Enhance hygiene practices
Wear a well-fitting mask
Keep a distance from others
Get tested for respiratory viruses to lower the chance of spreading respiratory viruses to others

Office staff will continue to document COVID, Flu, etc. to report a summary of numbers to the health department.
