When you enter room, get your SKETCHBOOK and SUPPLIES.
Go directly to your assigned seat and begin working on daily sketch, or continued work.
No talking while the teacher is speaking.
Always try your best, and don't compare yourself to others. All artists are different, no better or worse.
At end of class, clean up your workspace, and put your work on drying rack or in portfolio. Put your sketchbook and any supplies used back before leaving for your next class.
YOU are responsible for keeping all supplies in good shape. Your tools are your responsibility.
Expectations are not rules; they govern how we move, learn, and create in the classroom. If you do not meet expectations, you get a reminder, not a consequence.
I have very simple rules in my classroom: Follow our Social Contract and School Rules.
