Google Classroom is posted on Monday Jan 26  at 8:00 Am

Assignments are due on Sunday February 1rst  at 11:59 pm.

Arabic Assignment-- REQUIRES A VIDEO OF YOUR CHILD FOR THE FULL GRADE

Writing Assignment--InshAllah on Tuesday, I will send a writing sheet to be accomplished at home. Please read the instructions carefully under the assignment on Google Classroom.

Quran Assignment----Just watch and make sure your child is following my recitationl

Curriculum Updates-

Arabic Literacy-We have started the Backpack Letters, the first one is 'Haa ح.

Quran- We are mastering Surah Quraish in week 4 InshAllah.

With Group 2- We will review Attahiyyat and we will start with Al Ibrahimiyyah InshAllah.

Islamic Studies- We did not get the chance to take our Islamic Studies class last week due the day the day off on Monday. In week 4 we will learn about our religion  "Islam is my Religion", "I am proud to be Muslim" (Muslim wa Aftakhir). We will also learn to answer the 4 questions in Arabic (Who is your Lord, What is your Book, What is your Prop)het and What is your Deen)

Curriculum Updates-

Arabic Literacy- We have accomplished the Smiling Letters Assessment in Week 2. I am so proud of my students.

Arabic Language and Vocabularies with Ustatha Lubna: We are working on Arabic Numbers, we have reviewed wahid and Ithnaan (Recognition and Quantification). In Week 3 we will review thalaatha, arba'a and Khamsah InshaAllah.

Quran- We are starting with Surah Quraish in week 3 InshAllah.

With Group 2- We will review Attahiyyat and we will start with Al Ibrahimiyyah InshAllah.

Islamic Studies- We did not get the chance to take our Islamic Studies class last week due the day the day off on Monday and the Field Trip on Thursday

November Week 3 News and Updates

Monday Nov 17  to Friday November 21

Assalamu Alaykum dear Parents

🍁Google Classroom Assignment Nov Week 3 is Posted on Monday Nov 17 at 8:00 am InshaAllah:

🍁Quran Assignment- 

 A video of your child is required for the full grade. Please have your child practice along with the video. Record your child reciting from Ayah 1 to ayah 6. Al Humazah Recitation Test Part 1 will be on Monday Nov 17th Inshallah.

🍁Arabic Assignment- Watch the video at least twice (or more) The Smiling Letters with the fat'ha sound. No video of your child reading is required.

🍁Extended Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC) Note:

(The Extended PTCs will take place  on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:35 until 4:05 (3 conferences with three parents, each 10 minutes long, just like the Nov 10th PTCs) In those conferences we share with you briefly your child's progress as well as any other issues concerning your child. Please note, to discuss those issues in detail, if there were any, we will have to reschedule another meeting on another day Inshallah.

What are we learning in Nov Week 3 Inshallah?

Arabic- 

• Letter Thaa with Fat'ha and kasra sound

• Syllables practice including taa with various shapes

• Writing Taa and Thaa on lines

• Writing Syllable on lines.

Quran- 

• Memorize Surah Al Humazah ayahs 5 and 6

• Practice recitation and correct mistakes in preparation for the test next Monday on Monday 24 Inshallah

• Practice recognizing the words نـارُ--- ما-- أدْراك- وَ--

Islamic Studies-

• We will learn about Prophet Ibrahim AS  adolescence

• His relationship with his father

• The story of the statues

• The fire that became Cold and peace for him

• The thikr he said: Hasbiyallahu wa Ni'mal Wakeel and what it means.

The moral of the lesson is that when we believe in Allah and we turn to Him assamad and Al wahid, He is the only one who can help us get out of what is bothering us.

The biggest and the most powerful statue could not do anything to save the other ones from being knocked down. Allah Al Wahid is the only Owner of the worlds and Prophet Ibrahim despite the fact that he was young, he was able to prove this.
