General Uniform Guidelines

1. Clothing should honor the person wearing it and anyone they are with; modesty is a good policy.

2. Clothing should be neat, clean, and free of holes, stains, or excessive wear.

3. Clothing should fit the student well; not too tight or difficult for moving or sitting.

4. Tops - GACS gear from the online store or polos in red, navy, or light blue can be worn to school every day unless specific attire has been required (i.e. field trips, special events, service projects, etc.).

5. Bottoms - Khaki, Navy, or Dark Blue Denim options are approved for boys and girls. Length requirements for all bottoms are specified in the Uniform Guidelines.

6. Outerwear - GACS-approved fleece, hoodies, or sweatshirts may be worn in the classroom.  For outside recess, any weather-appropriate outerwear is acceptable.

7. Hair and Jewelry/Accessories:  Girls may wear earrings - no other body piercings are allowed.  All  jewelry, earrings, and hair accessories should be gender and age appropriate and not a distraction in the classroom. Hair needs to be clean, brushed, natural color, and styled in a way that keeps it out of the eyes.

We have an online school store with a variety of cost effective options for students to wear as part of their uniforms including t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces, jackets, and more!

The GACS School Store Site opens every summer before school starts, usually at the beginning of August, to allow for delivery of items before the start of the school year.  

The store also opens monthly throughout the school year.  

All logo-wear sold on the GACS School Store Site is approved to wear daily to school.
