Gretna Preschools are Currently Accepting Screening Registrations for the 2024-2025 School Year!

Thank you for your interest in the Gretna Public Schools Preschool!

We are now accepting registrations for a second round of screenings for 2024-2025 preschool placements at the following buildings: 

Gretna Elementary 

Harvest Hills Elementary 

Palisades Elementary 

Squire John Thomas Elementary 

If you are interested in a preschool spot at any of our other elementary buildings, we apologize, but all of our preschool classrooms at our other buildings are at capacity for next year.

Four-Year-Old Preschool Screening Registration  

Screenings will be held between 8:00-4:00 on Friday, May 10th and will take approximately 1/2 hour.

Please note that preschool will begin on the same day as the rest of the school district on  Wednesday, August 14, 2024!  

The rest of the preschool calendar will follow the regular school calendar with the exception of the following days:

Wednesday, October 16th - NO PRESCHOOL

Wednesday, February 19th - NO PRESCHOOL

There will be no preschool on these two days so that teachers can hold Parent Teacher Conferences.

Cedar Hollow: AM 8:00-11:15 / PM 11:55-3:10

Falling Waters: AM 8:00-11:15 / PM 11:55-3:10

Gretna Elementary: AM 7:45-11:00 / PM 11:40-2:55

Harvest Hills: AM 7:45-11:00 AM / PM 11:40-2:55

Palisades: AM 7:45-11:00 / PM 11:40-2:55

Squire John Thomas: AM 7:45-11:00 / PM 11:40-2:55

Whitetail Creek: AM 8:00-11:15 / PM 11:55-2:55
