Home and Community Services

The Gretna Public Schools Home and Community Team serves children with disabilities ages birth-to-five, in home and community-based settings, providing special education services and support to individual children and their families. 

3 year old and 4 year old Preschool

Gretna Public Schools currently has eight Three-Year-Old and twelve Four-Year-Old half-day special education preschool classrooms.  These classrooms support Gretna students with special needs through participation in general education classrooms with other neighborhood children.  Our preschool classrooms consist of approximately 50% children with special education needs and 50% neighborhood children who do not receive special education services.
