The Gretna Home & Community team serve children and their families from ages birth to 5 with special education needs. Our team consists of early childhood special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, hearing and vision specialists, and psychologists. The team determines your child’s educational needs by assessing all areas of development within their natural environment. Areas assessed include communication, physical development, self-help skills, social-emotional development and cognitive development. Intervention is family-driven and focused on the needs of both the child and their family. This is a voluntary and free program that does not discriminate based on race, culture, religion, income level, or disability.
