Friday, 3/16: Begin studying the rise of Sumerian City-States: preview and introduction.
Monday, 3/19: Begin studying the Rise of Sumerian city-states - read sections 1 and 2 and answer corresponding questions in answer packet.
Tuesday, 3/20: Rise of Sumerian city-states - sections 3 through 5.
Wednesday, 3/21: Rise of Sumerian city-states - section 6. Then we will begin making a real estate ad for ancient Sumer - directions are found on page 6 of the student answer packet.

Tuesday. 4/10: Continue studying Mesopotamian empires by creating a Cornell Notes packet
Wednesday. 4/11: Continue studying Mesopotamian empires.
Thursday, 4/12: Continue studying Mesopotamian empires.
Friday, 4/13: Continue studying Mesopotamian empires by finishing a Cornell Notes packet.
Monday, 4/16: Work in small groups (of 3 or less) to provide detailed answers to questions about Mesopotamian empires using only our Cornell notes from last week.
Tuesday. 4/17: Finish Mesopotamian Empires. Jump forward and begin looking at Muslim innovations and adaptations from the medieval era.
