Activity #2 RTI, 504, SPED, and Dyslexia 101

Paras will report to campus for specific duties

Teachers not zooming with Mr. V or participating in the HB3 Reading Academy will continue to work on setting up their classroom, preparing for Sneak-A-Peek, or contacting parents with Sneak-A-Peak information.

All Remaining K-2 Teachers will continue working on the following:

• classroom set up (virtual and/or on-campus)

• Positive Parent contact-via email and/or phone call with Zoom information regarding Sneak-A-Peek date and time- Thursday, August 13th 6-7pm

**Paras will film common areas safety video during this time. Video will be emailed to teachers on Wednesday to be added to your Sneak-A-Peek powerpoint.

Sneak-A-Peek Guidelines

Thursday, August 13th 6:00-7:00 pm

Teachers should plan to:

• virtually introduce themselves to parents show parents/students the classroom

• let them know their daily schedule for learning virtually

• what instruction will look like in person when we resume

• reinforcing safety protocols that will be in place in the classroom.

*Your presentation should include videos from all other auxiliary staff members such as Interventionists, Specials Teachers, GT, etc.

*Safety Protocols in the Cafeteria and common areas should also be added-this will be emailed tomorrow.

Teachers will also need to record/upload their presentation to Google Classroom for parents to be able to watch at their convenience.

NOTE: Use this time to orientate parents and students of the virtual environment.

REMEMBER: For Meet the Teacher Night, post all pertinent information on your Google Classroom.

Please update or create your Zoom ID (new staff). I will send out a document that I will send to parents on the 10th. Be sure to use your last name as the password.
