-Book Report-
Friends Forever is a nonfiction graphic novel by Shannon Hale and Leuyen Pham. This book has a good plot and character. It is one of my favorite books. It talks about a girl who doesn’t feel okay and happy. This book has made me think about how we love and care yourself more instead of judging ourself more. Many readers can relate to her and really like this book.
The main character, Shannon, is an eighth grader,a friendly person, and makes people feel good and happy. She has more friends than she has ever. She is smart, caring, kind, funny, goofy, and creative. She is in drama class which she felt she could fit in with. She wants to be an author. She loves to write stories about different things. But she never really feels okay or happy like she should. Shannon could relate to readers about how she feels or acts.
Shannon lives in Salt Lake City,Utah. She goes to Bryant Junior High. The time period is 1987 and she is an eighth grader.
Shannon is an eighth grader who goes to Bryant Junior High. She has lots of friends and got it figured out. But she never feels really or truly happy. It feels like nothing can go like she wants it to . She just wants to be pretty, popular, successful, liked by boys, and a good person. Which is really hard for her to do. The reader might learn about being happy with yourself and loving and caring for yourself.
One way this book could be is by including about her friend more. They could have included them a bit more in the story so it makes the story better. They could also talk about them more through out the story is a great way to make this story better. That way it could talk about her friends a bit more in the story and it could make the book better.
People my age would want to read this book because it might relate to them. I enjoyed this book because it had an interesting plot and characters. It talks about a girl named Shannon who doesn’t feel ok or happy. A reader who might not feel ok or happy in life like Shannon. So the reader might relate to her and how she feels. These characters in the story can relate to some of the readers who read this book.
