7th Grade Reflection

7th grade Reflection

In 7th grade, I had met many people some friends some well I could call them acquaintances. Some of those people I had met didn't like me, others didn't care for what I did, and some of those people had become my friends. My classes in 7th grade were Art, Book Club, PAP Social Studies, PAP Math, PAP Math figures, PAP ELAR, PAP Science, STEM, Think Tank, and Digital Art and Animation. Out of all my classes, my favorite had to be Digital Arts and Animation because I loved to create things on the internet, and in that class, I was able to create anything I wanted. My favorite teacher had to be Mr. Slife because he made jokes all the time, and allowed us to play video games when we finished. In 7th grade, I had friends such as Juan, Elise, Layla, Aaron, and many more, but I had made many friends too. At the beginning of 7th grade, I met a couple of classmates such as Alexis, Arianna, Jade, Abigail, Esmeralda, Logan, and yes many more.

In 7th grade, Encounters was my 2nd period. In Encounters, we had done many projects, Cercas, and we had done our research papers. At the beginning of the school year, we met Mr. Skipper. Mr. Skipper had told us all about Encounters, and how we would have research papers. The projects we did were fun and easy. My favorite project of Encounters had to be, the Number Burst because all we had to do was draw and color. The research papers were boring and hard. My topic for the research paper was the Kraft Company. Along with the Research Paper, we had to create a Word Art Cloud. To make the Word Art Cloud, we had to get a picture of anything that made sense with our project and then put our whole research paper into the word art cloud. ThinkCerca were sometimes easy and sometimes hard. The reason they were easy and hard was that ThinkCerca either had questions and a writing topic, or only questions.

At the beginning of 2020, many countries were getting a virus called Covid-19 or Corona Virus, so when spring break ended many cases of the virus had gone up which led us to not have school for a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks after Corona, schools had stated they would be reopening online and not face-to-face. When school did open up, My mom, brother, 2 sisters, and I went to the local school to pick up our breakfast. After we had gotten breakfast, my brother, sister, and I would go to each of our classes. My brother and sister would usually be loud when their school ended. Since they’re in elementary school and I’m in Middle school they got off earlier. Because we were at home it was hard to focus with all the distractions. My mom would usually have to go to the store to purchase groceries, so I was in charge of watching my siblings. The schedule got pretty hectic because when my sister was in one class my brother was in another. They each had to listen to their teachers, but couldn’t pay attention to their classes when hearing another. In the end, 7th grade was the weirdest school year because in the first half it was fun and games, but in the second we had to be careful and cautious. That’s the end of my 7th-grade reflection.
