President's Letter

Dear Mustang Family,

Welcome to all the students, parents, faculty, and staff members of North Shore Senior High School. The NSSH PTA invites you to join us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for all children. 

The PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in America.  Today’s PTA is comprised of members who share a commitment to making a difference in the education, health, and safety of all children.  It is an organization that promotes collaboration among parents, the school, and the community.  The number one reason to join the PTA is to benefit your child, but every individual who joins the PTA helps not only his or her own child but every child.  Your children are important to you and they are important to us!  Children will learn more and perform better in school when parents are involved in their education and of course our children all enjoy having the support of their family members.

Our PTA provides the setting for parents, teachers, principal, staff and community members to come together to improve the lives of children and youth through programs and activities.  With your support, we can strengthen the home-school connection through parents and staff working together to produce workshops, parent involvement evenings, newsletters and other activities. 

We invite you to join our PTA today. Sign up online using the Join PTA link.  Be sure to include Galena Park ISD as the district and North Shore High School (Senior) as the Campus.  As always, you are welcome to send an envelope with the name of your student and the grade that they are in along with the number of members he/she is signing up; enclose your membership dues of $10.00 per member and return it to Wendy Reeves in Room 165 by November 15th. In addition, you are welcome to stop by during the Open House & Meet the Teacher Night on September 14th, visit our table at the College Fair night on Wednesday, October 11th at 6:00pm, or catch us at the Senior Parent meeting on Monday, October 23rd at 6:00pm or at our booth at the Fall Festival at MacArthur Elementary at 6pm.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
