My 6th Grade Reflection
Well, after my first school year in middle school, I ended up here. This year was a year in which many things happened. I have learned many things, both in and outside of school. Inside of school, I have obviously learned things such as new math concepts or different events in history. But I have also learned about life. This school year, I have learned about life and how I should look at it. I also learned how I have to act if I want to be successful both in and outside of school. I mean, I am literally in middle school, not elementary school, which means that I am no longer a little boy. I am now a "teenager" (I put "teenager" in quotation marks because I do not know what is the official age to be a teenager, but I have already been considered a teenager). I am now a much more mature boy that has to start thinking about his future. I am literally about 6 years away from graduating from high school and becoming officially an adult. 6 years may seem like a lot of time, but it is not. I have learned this year how to accept bigger responsibilities and be able to handle them. Also, I have learned to be able to think with a mature mind and to actually think about my actions and how they can affect my future. In this school year, I have seen how people have ended because of one little choice they made. Because of all the things I have seen, I have now learned what I need to do if I want to thrive in life. I know that every little choice I make right now will completely change my future. As you can see, this year, I have taken a lot of things that will help me be a better person both in the present and the future.
