The seventh grade for me was very different from other years that I've been in school. This year was far different from 6th grade, even tho some of the things did not change, I had some experiences that were very different, but also beneficial. This year I didn't only learn to be more efficient but to be more responsible with all my work. Because this year I had a lot more work compared to my elementary and 6th-grade years, I had to learn how to deal with everything at once due to the fact that I had 8 different classes.
In 7th grade, I earned a lot of rewards that honestly surprised me. I didn't expect that one of my years in middle school I was going to get many awards but I did and I'm really proud o myself for it. I also got to enter the encounters program and was able to get an athlete of the week a few times, and that is something that when I look back at, I know all the effort was worth it. I got a lot of accomplishments and I reached goals that made me believe that one day I can be greater than that, which gives me hope for the future.
I have noticed that one of the ways that this year changed me is by affecting my personality. With this year being there so many different people with different opinions, I have learned to stay quiet multiple times. I have been told that my way of being, may be found annoying to some people and I don't like hating or anything, so this year has tough me to stay silent more often. This was a big change in my personality since last year, but I know we all have to make sacrifices for the things we care about.
But overall, I loved 7th grade, I loved the experience I got and I love all my classes especially Encounters which was my favorite class with the best teacher Mr.Skipper.
