Global Awareness

A global event that impacted me this school year was getting to see actual snow on January 21 of this year. This impacted me because it was the first time I got to see snow that wasn't just ice blocks. When this happened, we got time off from school, and I got to experience having real-life snowball fights and making snow angels. When this event was happening, I got to bond with my brother and neighbors more. My brother made a sled by tying a bucket to his truck, and he took people to ride in it. This event shaped my perspective on the world by knowing that when things like this happen, you should cherish them because they may never happen again.
