I learned a lot in 6th grade. A subject I definitely got better at is math. Something I accomplished this year that I am proud of is being accepted into the National Junior Honor Society. Something I will never forget is the time my two band teachers got pied in the face, I got to spend time with my friends, eat ice cream, and somehow I ended up running away so I didn’t get shaving cream on me, but overall it was really fun. Something that I found difficult at the beginning of sixth grade was doing my breathing exercises for the band and playing my instrument because I wasn’t used to taking in that much air and it took some time to figure out how to make the right sounds on my flute. Something nice that one of my friends has done for me brought me breakfast in the morning. If I could describe this year in with 6 words I would say stressful, fun, different, interesting, remarkable, and inspiring. I would say the most challenging part of my year was at the beginning of the school year because I wasn’t familiar with my schedule and new school. One thing I would change about this year is the 6th grade choir evaluation, because I know we could have done better.I have definitely done good this year but this year is like no other. This year has had it’s ups and down’s but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
