Abby L.

The Journey of Abby Lopez

Abby L. was born in Mexico on July 21, 2011, along with her twin sister Evva. Abby, as well as her twin sister Evva, had an older and caring sister named Sara. They had all lived in Mexico up until Abby and her sister came along, and before they knew it, they had to move to the United States with their grandma quickly. Although, they still frequently travel to Mexico in the summer to visit their family.

She spends most of her time painting, drawing, being outside, and playing her instrument with some of her close friends. She watches anime and family shows often and loves sketching animals. Abby and her entire family love spending time together, including going to restaurants, visiting different places, and going to the beach.

One of Abby’s 6th-grade accomplishments that she is still proud of in seventh grade is winning third place in the UIL Social Studies competition. At school, she is an outstanding student who respects all rules, behaves as expected, and gets A’s in all her academic subjects, including Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reading. She has also Mastered most of her subjects in the past  STAAR tests taken. She participates in many school activities, like the STEM Girls Club. Lastly, one of Abby’s significant accomplishments includes joining the WAMS Band Wind Ensemble as a clarinet player.

Lastly, Abby has been grateful for all of the unique experiences she has been through with her loving and caring friends, whom she dearly loves and who have helped her along the school and middle school journey. In the future, Abby’s goal is to keep up with Wind Ensemble as a clarinet player throughout high school, and she hopes to graduate college as a veterinarian with A’s and B’s who can help and rescue many animals in need. Overall, Abby wants to be someone her parents can be proud of and a past that she can smile and laugh about with her future friends and family.
