UKULELE

Students in Grades 4-6 will play Ukulele, and some recorder, beginning in January. This year, the grade 3, and 3/4 classes will most likely begin Ukulele in the Winter term as well.

The music room is fortunate to have 32 Ukuleles, provided by the school. Students do not need to bring their own instrument to class, however this also means that they cannot bring them home to practice.

Similar to the recorder, I hope to continue a leveled program this year, which will increase in difficulty and provide students to the opportunity to work at their own pace for assessment purposes.
