What tools are available to align with the expectations of student achievement and well-being?
A multitude of resources promoting access to student achievement and well-being are readily available for your use. There is no "single" document or book to respond to these overarching expectations, but rather a variety of resources that when combined and successfully implemented can have real impact on student achievement and well-being. At the base of moving your students forward in their learning, truly knowing your learners on an individual basis will have the most relevant and responsive impact on their achievement and well-being. As you move through the resources and material throughout the site, it is important to note that we focus on aligning with our board's Strategic Priorities.

What are the Ministry's Goals for FSL?
The primary goal of FSL programs in Ontario is to increase, within realistic and well-defined parameters, a student's ability to use French effectively. In order to help schools maximize opportunities for students to reach thier full potentioal in FSL, the Ministry of Education has published a foundation document presenting a call to action to strengthen FSL programming, the benefits of studying FSL, and increase public confidence in FSL education.
The three goals articulated by the Ministry include:
to increase student confidence, proficiency, and achievement in FSL
to increase the percentage of students studying FSL until graduation
to increase student, educator parent, and community engagement in FSL
