South Student Course Selection Process 

Course selection in myBlueprint will CLOSE on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM.  This process is for current South students.

• Use the Course Selection Guide 2025-2026 for course descriptions and pre-requisite information.   

• Use “View My Course Credits” in the student portal or your Credit Counselling Summary to determine which of the 18 compulsory credits are outstanding.

• Plan your course selection in consultation with your parents, teachers and guidance counsellor.

• Use ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca, ontariocolleges.ca or myBlueprint to find the required courses needed for admission into your program in college or university.

• Use the High School Plan in myBlueprint , to help prepare and organize your next school year.  Students may complete course selection in myBlueprint at home, or at school.

How to complete your course selection in myBlueprint

1. Login With School Account – www.myblueprint.ca/tvdsb 

   • Make sure it is through TVDSB

   • Click the Green School Account Log In Button

   • Login with school account - Student Login ID (lastfirs123@gotvdsb.ca) and school password.

2. Click “High School” on the left

3. Click “View Plans” for a new high school plan

4. Choose an existing plan, or click “Add New Plan”

5. Add courses to your plan. 

   • Add 8 courses for Grades 9, 10, 11 and minimum 6 courses for Grade 12.

   • Choose 2 alternate courses (in case a course is cancelled or is full).

6. If you are not returning, choose NOTRET. If you want to return for

   • semester one only, choose SEM200 in "Unlisted Courses". 

7. Click “Review Course Selections”

8. Review your courses carefully before clicking “Submit Course Selections”

You have completed Course Selection.  You do not need to submit any paper to Guidance.

There will be an opportunity for students to make changes to course selections on course verification sheets that will be sent home in the spring.
