ONTARIO SCHOLAR

A student may be designated an Ontario Scholar if they achieve an average mark of at least 80% in any six Grade 12 courses. 

This is based on the following criteria:

• The 6 best Grade 12 courses with an overall aggregate of at least 480 marks 

      (eg.  90 + 80 + 75 + 85 + 80 + 70 = 480)

• Any Grade 12 U, M, C, E, O course approved by Ministry

• Any Cooperative Education (CO-OP) courses related to any of the above courses

• Any dual credit courses in college-delivered dual credit programs approved by the Ministry

• Student has been recommended by the principal for the OSSD
