We offer a range of different courses in music, our most popular being Instrumental (winds and brass) which is a staple in our department from the time students join us in grade nine, right through to graduation. In addition, students have the opportunity to explore music in vocal and guitar.

Extracurricular Ensembles

Join Our Ensembles

In addition to our instructional courses, students have the opportunity to join one of our many ensembles where they make friends and memories in rehearsal, at performances, and on excursions. Many of our musicians wind up joining multiple ensembles over their four years and travel with us to Toronto to New York City and Chicago. Join an ensemble today!

SDCI Virtual Bands 2020/2021

During our Covid Lockdowns in 2021, Our Music Saints were still busy making music. Enjoy Holst's Chorale from "Jupiter" performed by a group of our Grade 11 and 12 students. After, check out some of our Grade 9 and 10 music students performing "Furioso" by Robert W. Smith.
