Ms. Found grew up in Kitchener along the Grand River. She attended the University of Guelph where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a History minor and English teachable. She focused on drawing, painting, photography, and media, as well as sculpture and printmaking. She also spent hours in the Arboretum and walking along the Elora Gorge. She moved to London to attend Althouse College and earned her teaching degree, while also exploring the banks of the Thames River.
Ms. Found has been teaching Visual Art, History and English in Thames Valley DSB since 1998. She loves all aspects of teaching Visual Art, from clay to painting. She also enjoys teaching the Media Arts course with photography, animation, and Adobe Creative Suite. She excited about introducing the Native Arts and Crafts course in 2020.
Ms. Found is part of a collaborative painting group called Our Three Cents. She loves being on Lake Huron beaches and collecting rocks. Her medicine is creating art, dancing, drumming, nature walks, good food and playing with animals.
