Program Overview

Students enrolled in Visual Arts at SDCI should look forward to a hands-on learning experience and an excellent opportunity to explore a variety of artistic mediums. Possibilities are truly endless as we practice drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media in our classes.

Our students should also expect to study Art History spanning from Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome, as well as Medieval and Renaissance art, all the way to modern Impressionist and Abstract artists and Canadian art. It's important to learn where art started in order to continue creating!
