Rough drafts can be done on any paper you have at home. A rough draft is where you write and don't worry about making spelling mistakes. If you are unsure of how to spell a word, underline it. When you have finished writing your story, that is when the editing process begins and you can go back and correct your mistakes.

They are copies where you have corrected all your spelling errors and made sure you have all your capitals and periods added. Good copies are pieces of published work that you are proud of. So take your time and do your best.

We are going to try a new website called Flipgrid.com where you get make recordings of yourself. This week you are going to practice reading your story and when you are ready, you will record yourself reading it out loud . All you have to do is click the BIG green plus sign . Don't worry you can edit the recording. Remember when you are recording yourself reading please make sure to read with expression and fluency. When I have watched all your videos I will share the grid so you all can hear each others stories. You'll be able to hear your classmates voices and creative stories!
