I have exciting news! The Thames Valley District School Board is providing Lexia Reading Core5 Licences for every student to supplement our Distance Learning Program. These licences will only be available while we are learning at home. I really hope you will take advantage because this is a really fun computer-based program that has helped millions of students. The activities in Core5 support and build on our classroom curriculum and focus on developing reading skills in six areas: phonological awareness, phonics, structural analysis, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

This is a great resource that can be, and should be done independently without parent support. I am able to see their progression as they go. Please make sure to complete each task before logging out. If you log out early without completing one of the assignments the work will be lost and not counted.
