New Student Registration at London Central for 2021 - 2022

Registration for the 2021 - 2022 school year is now closed to students who live outside of London Central's catchment area. The 2021-2022 deadline was Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at 12:00pm.

For students who live within London Central's boundary, please find the registration information below (under Grade 9-12 Registration Materials) and contact the Guidance office.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I register for 2021-2022 at London Central S.S. if I am an out-of-area student?

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is currently closed to students who live out-of-area. Only students that reside within London Central's catchment area can register for 2021-2022. We usually have an out-of-area registration deadline for the following school year in February. Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will open sometime in December 2021 and close in February 2022. Please keep checking this website for updates on registration for the 2022-2023 school year.

  • What is the school schedule at London Central?

Effective September 2021, London Central will operate on a semestered timetable where students will take up to (4) courses in one semester. They will take these four courses daily until the end of January. In February, they will begin up to (4) new courses until June.


  • What extracurricular activities are available at London Central?

London Central offers a wide range of student activities including sports, clubs and student organizations. Our students are always creating new and exciting extracurricular opportunities. If you live in-area and are needing to register at London Central, please complete one of the registration packages below depending on the student's grade and submit to the Guidance office (email to n.connell@tvdsb.ca) as soon as possible. After you submit the registration package, you will be contacted to schedule a registration appointment.

Currently living out of province/country?

If you are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with Parent/Legal Guardian who is NOT residing in Ontario or an International or Non-Canadian Citizen or non-Permanent Resident

You will need to register with our International Welcome Centre, One World. They can be reached at 519-452-2117 or oneworld@tvdsb.ca before seeking registration at London Central Secondary School (Please note that English as a Second Language programming is not available at London Central).

Required Paperwork for One World:

  • proof of residence: current utility bill, lease agreement, agreement of purchase and sale, property tax bill, home phone, cable, internet bill (driver’s license is NOT acceptable for audit purposes) and lives within the London Central boundary qualifying as an in area registrant

  • proof of birth (birth certificate, passport) and permanent resident card if applicable

  • official transcript from previous school (translated into English if necessary) that clearly indicates courses achieved and student's attendance status (full-time or part-time)

Transportation

For out of area students, bussing to and from the school is not provided. Transportation is a parent responsibility.

How many courses do I need to take at London Central?

Grades 9, 10 and 11 students - 8 (or 8.5) courses (regardless of summer school, online or night school course completion)

Grade 12 and Year 5 students - enough courses to ensure graduation

Course Selections are currently closed. Current students will select courses using myBlueprint.ca.

When and where are course selection sheets due?

Verified course selection forms are sent to parent(s)/guardian(s) electronically through MyBlueprint.ca during the Course Selection process.
